The unit of AKC Steel was taken over in 1998 by the Beekay Group and within a short period it has established itself as a major force in the Indian Steel Industry. Adoption of energy-efficient technology, optimum utilization of resources and continuous upgradation of production facilities and man-power skills has resulted in an ever-growing customer-base and distinct presence in the domestic markets. AKC Steel has also embarked on an export thrust and is regularly receiving export orders from the Middle East, New Zealand, U.K., Bangladesh and other neighbouring countries
