Hi, I’m Rizwan Ahmad, and I’m from Jaipur — the Pink City of Rajasthan, India.I started The Ethnic Jewels with a simple dream and a love for traditional jewelry. The journey began in 2014, when I opened my first Etsy shop under the name “theethnicjewels.”

Back then, there were very few Indian sellers on Etsy—and even fewer offering ethnic nose jewelry. In fact, nose rings in traditional Indian designs were almost unseen in the U.S. market. I was proud to be among the first few to bring this unique category to a global platform, introducing the world to handcrafted nose studs, rings, and hoops rooted in our rich culture.
